Armstrong Approved Modems

The selection for Armstrong approved modems is light. Read the Cable Modem Buying Guide to help you choose a modem. Do not forget to purchase your modem accessories.

Internet providers have begun removing some DOCSIS 3.0 modems from their networks. To maximize the years of use from a modem, it is strongly recommended to purchase a DOCSIS 3.1 device (the latest standard).

  1. Okay internet, base speed not nearly as fast as spectrum and much more expensive for the same speed. Data cap is a scam to get you to buy more services. Stupidly small approved modem list is borderline illegal by FCC rulings.

    • Yes, Armstrong is a smaller internet service provider (ISP). They may not be able to offer the same services as a bigger ISP like Spectrum. At least the modems listed on the Armstrong approved modem list are current modem models. A company like Blue Ridge has mostly older devices on their approved modem list.
